The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Tamenglong College convened a one-day symposium on Tuesday to illuminate the recently enacted triumvirate of criminal laws, effective from July 1.
The workshop commenced with an introductory address by Tamenglong College’s principal, Kinthuijinang Maremmei.
The core of the symposium was a comprehensive examination of the new legislations: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam. The resource persons spearheading these discussions were Assistant Professor David J Kamei, Assistant Professor Daidatlung Kameih, and Ringsinrei Gonmei.
The proceedings were adeptly moderated by Km Pouhimdailiu KG, and the event culminated with a note of gratitude from the IQAC coordinator of Tamenglong College. Both faculty and students of the institution were in attendance, contributing to a vibrant and engaging session.
