    Imphal West District Prepares for Lok Sabha Election with Arrival of Counting Observers

    The Office of the District Election Officer, Imphal West district, Manipur, has announced the arrival of counting observers designated by the Election Commission of India for the 2024 House of People Election.

    In a press release by DEO Imphal West, Th Kirankumar, it was revealed that five observers have been allocated to oversee various constituencies. Dhavalkumar K Patel will supervise 9-Thangmeiband, 10-Uripok, 11-Sagolband, and the Special Polling Station, while Gangadhar Wahile will monitor 12-Keishamthong, 13-Singjamei, and 16-Sekmai. Sagun R Velip has been tasked with overseeing 17-Lamsang, 18-Konthoujam, and 19-Patsoi. MM Patel will take charge of 20-Langthabal and 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, and Gangadeep Singh will oversee 22-Wangoi and 23-Mayang Imphal assembly segments.

    Furthermore, the press note disclosed that the observers are accommodated at Classic Hotel, North AOC, and Hotel Imolesh, opposite GP Women’s College, Imphal.
