In a troubling incident shared on Instagram, a vlogger and travel agent from Delhi recounted a disturbing encounter with a person claiming to be an “RPF officer” during a train journey from Guwahati to Rangapara in Assam.
The vlogger accused this individual of inappropriate behavior, specifically mentioning unwanted touching and pressure on private areas.
This unsettling event unfolded while Deepak Samal, the vlogger, was traveling on the Donyi Polo Express on April 25.
Samal described, “While I was asleep, an RPF officer illuminated my face with a flashlight. Upon waking up, I noticed he was conducting a routine check. As my destination approached, I asked about its proximity. He assured me it was near and occupied my berth. He then bombarded me with questions about my identity, occupation, and destination.”
He elaborated, “I had placed my backpack in such a way that there was minimal space left. He sat near my legs, and his movements caused discomfort. Initially, I assumed it was due to limited space.”
“However, he proceeded to press against my private areas with his elbow. Initially, I dismissed it as an accident given the train’s motion. Unfortunately, it continued to happen,” Samal continued.
“Eventually, he forcibly grabbed my private parts,” he added.
