Reach Dredging Ltd set up a blood donation event at Shija Blood Center & Transfusion Services, Langol, last Saturday.
The event, part of National Safety Week (March 4-10, 2024), saw about 10 volunteers generously giving their blood, according to a release from Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd.
The main goal was to spread awareness about safety in areas like roads, workplaces, human health, and the environment.
During the gathering, Ashish Kumar Panda, liaison Manager at Reach Dredging Ltd, and Abhinav Yadav, Manager of Environmental Health & Safety, talked about their organization’s dedication to social welfare.
They pointed out that, as their company works on a project in Lamphelpat, it was crucial to give back to the community wherever they are.
The blood donation event was one of Reach Dredging Ltd’s efforts to make a positive impact on society.
