    Manipur Chief Minister Briefs Prime Minister Modi on State Crisis After BJP Consultations

    Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, following his recent consultations with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President J.P. Nadda and National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh.

    The meeting with Prime Minister Modi took place amid ongoing ethnic tensions and violence in Manipur. Chief Minister Biren Singh’s discussions with senior BJP leaders focused on addressing the state’s law and order situation, as well as measures to restore peace and normalcy.

    During the meeting, the Chief Minister briefed the Prime Minister on the current state of affairs in Manipur, emphasizing the need for continued central assistance and support. The discussions also included potential strategies for the rehabilitation of displaced persons and the rebuilding of affected communities.

    The consultations with BJP leaders Nadda and Santhosh were aimed at garnering political support and coordinating efforts to stabilize the region. The meetings underscore the central government’s involvement in addressing the crisis in Manipur and highlight the efforts being made to resolve the situation through political and administrative means.

    Chief Minister Biren Singh’s engagements with both the Prime Minister and senior BJP officials reflect the urgency and seriousness with which the state and central governments are approaching the ongoing crisis.
