    In a significant move, Justice U.B. Saha, Chairperson of the Manipur Human Rights Commission, visited Kangpokpi district headquarters yesterday to assess the living conditions of victims affected by the ongoing strife in Manipur.

    During his visit, Justice Saha interacted with local leaders, students, lawyers, and residents to gather firsthand information about their challenges and concerns. He listened attentively to their grievances and assured them of prompt action to address their issues.

    The Commission’s chairperson also visited relief camps within the district headquarters to understand the situation of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). He inspected the facilities and amenities provided to the displaced persons and spoke to them about their experiences and difficulties.
