The Manipur Amateur Photo Club, in collaboration with the Directorate of Environment & Climate Change, Government of Manipur, is set to orchestrate a Photo Contest and Exhibition from June 5 to 9.
This occasion aligns with the annual World Environment Day festivities on June 5, the Club divulged in a communiqué on Wednesday.
Photographers inclined to partake in the contest are invited to submit up to three images reflecting this year’s motif: ‘Land Restoration, Desertification, and Drought Resilience.’
Submissions must adhere to the specified dimensions of 18 inches by 12 inches, be chemical color prints, and framed in a 3/4 inch black fiber frame, the statement specified.
Furthermore, the announcement detailed that the first, second, and third place laureates will receive Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000, and Rs 7,000, respectively, along with citations.
