In line with the timetable set by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), the Manipur State Legal Services Authority, alongside District Legal Services Authorities, is set to host the National Lok Adalat on May 11, 2024.
The event is scheduled to unfold at the Lamphelpat Court Complex and will span across all District Courts in Manipur.
The primary objective of the National Lok Adalat is to expedite the resolution of various pending cases before the courts, as well as pre-litigation matters.
During the National Lok Adalat, cases relating to section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, bank recovery, electricity and water bills, motor accident claims, matrimonial disputes, revenue cases, and criminal compoundable offences will be addressed.
