In a horrifying and deeply unsettling case, 34-year-old Adam Montgomery from New Hampshire is accused of committing a heinous crime against his own 5-year-old daughter, Harmony. According to authorities, not only did Montgomery allegedly brutally assault and cause the death of Harmony, but he also engaged in macabre behavior by bringing parts of her body to his workplace. Working as a cook and dishwasher, Montgomery is said to have stuffed Harmony’s decomposing remains into a tote bag, a bag that he regularly took with him to work.
The shocking revelation emerged that Montgomery stored the bag containing evidence of the crime in a workplace freezer, alongside food items, during his shifts – a detail that underscores the disturbing nature of the crime and the callousness of his actions.
Harmony’s disappearance in 2019 remained unknown to the police until two years later. Prosecutors outline a tragic sequence of events leading to her death – Montgomery allegedly assaulted Harmony multiple times after she had two bathroom accidents in the family car. As Harmony cried in the backseat, Montgomery continued with his routine, driving, having a meal, and even consuming drugs. The heartbreaking discovery of Harmony’s lifeless body occurred hours later when their car broke down.
