Apple Inc. is set to host its highly anticipated “It’s Glowtime” event on September 9, where the company will unveil a series of new products including the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. The event will be streamed live from Apple Park, showcasing the company’s latest technological advancements and design innovations.
Apple is expected to introduce four new iPhone models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new models are anticipated to feature significant upgrades, including the A18 chipset for the standard models and the A18 Pro for the Pro variants. The Pro models are rumored to have larger displays—6.3 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro and 6.9 inches for the iPhone 16 Pro Max—along with a new Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, resulting in thinner bezels. Additionally, the Pro models may come equipped with a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a new “Capture Button” for enhanced photography.
The Apple Watch Series 10 is another highlight expected at the event, featuring larger display sizes of 45mm and 49mm. The new design is anticipated to be slimmer, and the watch will likely be powered by the S10 processor, which enhances AI capabilities and overall performance. This model may also include advanced health sensors, potentially offering new features like sleep apnea detection and improved sleep data analysis through watchOS 11.
Two new variants of the AirPods 4 are expected to be unveiled, succeeding the AirPods 2 and AirPods 3. The primary distinction between the models is expected to be the inclusion of active noise cancellation (ANC) in the mid-level variant. The premium version may also feature a high-end case with a speaker and Apple’s “Find My” integration.
Apple is also likely to announce updates to its software lineup, including iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, watchOS 11, visionOS 2, and macOS Sequoia. While there are rumors of other potential product announcements, such as new M4 Macs and an updated iPad Mini, these are yet to be confirmed.
The event is expected to highlight Apple’s ongoing commitment to innovation and user experience, setting high expectations for the market release of these new products.
