Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, underscored the central government’s commitment to restoring peace and advancing development in Manipur during her two-day visit to the state.
On the first day, MoS Bambhaniya addressed the media, outlining the government’s proactive measures to reestablish peace in Manipur and highlighting the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for the holistic development of Northeastern states. She reaffirmed the central government’s ongoing efforts to achieve these objectives.
Her visit began with an inspection of various centrally sponsored schemes in Bishnupur district, accompanied by Manipur’s CAF and PD Minister L. Susindro and other officials. The MoS interacted with local residents, assuring them that their grievances would be addressed and expressed satisfaction with the progress of grassroots development initiatives, emphasizing the need for effective on-ground implementation.
MoS Bambhaniya chaired a review meeting at the Bishnupur District Commissioner’s Office to evaluate the progress of CAF and PD projects. The meeting aimed to assess the impact of ongoing initiatives and address challenges to ensure efficient execution of the schemes.
Additionally, she visited key project sites including Amrit Sarovar, Ayushman Arogya Mandir, and the Handloom Cluster in Bishnupur to observe the implementation of Prime Minister Modi’s flagship schemes. Her visit also included a boat tour of Loktak Lake with Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Minister Susindro, MLA T. Robindro, and other officials.
